Last week was a whirlwind of travels, family visits, work, etc. Makena seems to be unaffected by our bopping from activity to activity, which I think is a good thing. The progression of photos below is an glimpse into the everyday scene of post-diaper change. Makena is starting to more actively look around, coo and engage with her surroundings.
And did I mention that she has also started smiling? A great reward at 3 and 4 in the morning:
